Admissions

Admission to the M.S.Ed. degree program in elementary, middle level or secondary education requires submission of the following:

After a review of the completed admission application, a brief interview is often scheduled (either in person or by phone). The purpose of the interview is to explain our program goals and values and gain an understanding of the extent to which these are shared by the applicant. Questions or concerns can be raised, ensuring a good fit between the applicant’s goals and objectives and those of the program.

See the GSE Admissions home page for information on how to apply:

Undergraduates mayl take advantage of the opportunity to submatriculate into the M.S.Ed. degree programs in elementary, middle level or secondary education. This option is available to undergraduates at Penn, Haverford and Bryn Mawr Colleges, through the Quaker Consortium plan. Undergraduates who are admitted into the submatriculation program may take up to two courses that will count toward both the undergraduate and graduate degrees.
