Urban Education Journal

The Urban Ed Journal is an online journal whose mission is to provide an interactive forum to investigate critical issues in urban education. The purpose of an electronic journal format is to provide a vehicle for fostering conversations about the complexities of urban education among practitioners, researchers, policymakers and graduate students, groups who often work in isolation from each other. Past issues have focused on teaching for social justice, teaching in troubled times, new teachers, No Child Left Behind, Brown v. Board of Education 50 Years Later, and gender issues in education.
