New Teacher Network

Teachers who have graduated from our programs are invited to participate in our New Teacher Network. This new teacher network extends teacher learning into the first few years of practice, encouraging engagement in the rich intellectual traditions of teaching and learning, and providing one another with opportunities to learn from one another’s experiences while building their own practice in urban classrooms. Teachers are invited to continue their affiliation with PennGSE and the University by attending special events geared toward helping them to think deeply and critically about issues affecting urban schools and schooling. There is a similar group open to alumni teaching in the Boston area which builds on our participation in the CETE consortium of teacher educators.
